Oh what a day

This morning we woke up bright and early to go to the dermatologist. Not fun. the mole on my chest has two tiny moles that have formed right next to it forming a cluster of moles, so there's a total of 3 there now. The doctor looked at them and said all 3 of them looked abnormal and he would have to biopsy each one seperately. One of the first questions he asked me was if anyone in my family had ever had melanoma. Ok, scary. Luckily no one has, but obviously my moles looked pretty abnormal. So I had to go into the surgery room and lay on the table for a while. Laying on my back is the most uncomfortable thing ever, I can't breathe! They numbed my chest with local anesthetic and I didn't feel a thing, thank god. After he was done he cauterized it (mmm, burning flesh smell), cleaned me up and I was done. I won't have the results until Monday. I hope it's benign, the last thing I can deal with right now is cancer. If anything I will have to go back and get the rest of the moles removed, which means they have to really cut into my skin and stitch me up. Hopefully if it IS anything it isn't melanoma. I can't handle that right now. Ugh, seriously so stressful. Waiting for results like this is agonizing, and it's only the first day.
I can cross my insurance woes and pediatrician off my list of things to do. We have a meeting with a pediatrician on June 12th. My bradley instructor and lots of mamas on Mothering suggesting this office, they are totally laid back and on board with selective and no vaccinations, and they accept the insurance I will be getting! Double bonus. I need to figure out our well baby visit schedule since the generally go by immunizations. Since we aren't doing any vaccines at all until at least 18 months then we probably don't need to go to all the well baby visits that they reccomend. We'll see, I will talk it over with the pediatrician when I meet her.

I have more stuff to write about but I really need to take a nap.
