Jelly Bean Baby Diaper & Wipes Review & Giveaway - closed

Jelly Bean Baby is owned and operated by a work at home mama of two girls, Jasmine who is 3.5 and Roxie who is 10 months old. She's a kinda crunchy, all natural, homebirthing mama who has cloth diapered from the get go and wanted to make some affordable cloth diapers so all babies can have the luxury of a cloth bum.

I recently got to try out Jelly Bean Baby's Premium AIO Diaper and a pack of her flannel wipes. I got the kiwi colored diaper in a medium with an organic micro-fleece inner, and I chose the pretty blue and green floral wipes.

I normally shy away from AIO (all in one) diapers because they take a long time to dry, and I had one brand of AIO diapers that retained stink like no other. I want to love AIO's because there are those times when I just want to put a diaper on Eli and not have to bother with getting it ready. AIO diapers are also husband and babysitter friendly, which is a definite plus!

Fit: I got a medium diaper for Elijah who is 8 months old and almost 22lbs. Always go by the rise measurement and not the weight! I almost got a size large because I was looking at the weight measurement, a large probably would have worked fine, but the medium is a perfect fit for Eli. Another thing I usually shy away from is a hook and loop closure but I have to say I am very happy with the touchtape that is used on these diapers. The tabs stay fastened down in the wash which means you don't end up with a diaper chain. The elastic at the legs and waist is snug but not too tight, Eli never ended up with any red marks.

Quality: Whenever I get a new diaper I always give it a look over. I like to feel the inner and outer fabrics and look at the seams, it's the sewer in me! This diaper is very well made and the inner fabric is so soft!

Performance: I've been testing this diaper for a couple weeks now, it's been really great. I've had the chance to try it out with both kinds of dirty diapers and it gets the job done. We've never had any leaks or blowouts. Elijah even wore it overnight once and it lasted until morning.

Ease of use: Since this diaper is an all in one there's no stuffing or folding necessary, you just grab the diaper, put it on baby, then once you take it off you just have to throw it in the pail. You don't need to unstuff anything for washing either, just affix the touchtape to the wash tab and throw it in the wash. Jelly Bean Diapers dry faster than some other AIO's that I have tried, but I did have to put it on a second cycle for some extra time. You can cut down dryer time by using wool dryer balls or throwing a dry towel into the dryer cycle.

Value:  The Premium AIO Diaper is $17. I have seen some AIO's slightly cheaper, but I have seen many that are much more expensive. This diaper is made by a WAHM and you she puts a lot of love into each diaper that she makes. You could completely diaper your baby in Jelly Bean Diapers for approximately $408. I factored in 8 small, 8 medium, and 8 large. You could do more or less depending, but that would be a good number considering you might be able to use the smalls and mediums at the same time and the mediums and large.

The wipes have been great! They look really pretty all lined up in my wipes warmer and they get the job done. I got the 10 pack of short wipe which is a perfect size for the wipes warmer. They are made with 2 layers of flannel and have serged edges.
