I was ecstatic to find this great Etsy shop called BayBeeGee. They make all sorts of fun, cute things for baby including some adorable elf hats, tees, beanie and bootie sets, and my favorite, an organic teething snake. BayBeeGee was kind enough to send me one of their orgainc teething snakes to test out.
"Every baby is unique, funky, amazing, and inspiring. BayBeeGee® reflects all of these things in a collection of uber-cute, wearable, washable, rock-able baby clothing. Every item is handmade by me, with love in beautiful Bend Oregon."
"Plastic teething rings are gross. And what is that liquid inside of them?! When my son started teething, I was determined to come up with something that he could chew on that was not plastic, made of organic materials, fun for him to look at and play with, and multi-functional. This is how my Organic Teething Snake was born!"
Each snake is handmade with organic cotton and filled with bamboo fiber and comes with a 5 page instructional booklet.
We love this snake! It came at the perfect time too, Elijah just got his first two teeth, one on the top and one on the bottom. I did as the booklet said and dipped one end into some water and then put it in the freezer. It was great not having something that was totally frozen and melting all over Elijah and the house, and he was able to chew on the frozen end and his hands didn't get cold from holding it.
The coil shape is great because you can wrap it around your baby's wrist when they are too young to hold onto things so it won't keep falling onto the floor all the time. It also has two organic cotton "tags" that all babies will love to chew on!
The snakes are $16 each. A great price for an organic teether handmade by a mom!

How lovely! My girl is getting two teeth in right now...we could use on of those *scuttles off to check them out*
Thanks for suggesting them
wow. this looks wonderful! sometimes when edie bites on her wooden teether i think she wants to bite too hard and it hurts her... i think we might need to look into something soft like this to give her instead! thanks.
