Anna Soaps Baby Bath Basket from The Clean Bedroom Review & Giveaway

This review/giveaway was supposed to go up on Mother's day for a special giveaway treat and I am so sorry it didn't! I'm in the eye of the storm in this whole divorce thing and between that, not getting enough sleep, catching up on sewing orders, and having a 10 month old, well, all my down time has been spent just trying to rest. Although a bit late, it's still a great review and giveaway

The folks over at The Clean Bedroom are fantastic. I reviewed their organic cotton jacquard blanket not too long ago (I am still loving the blanket, by the way!) so I was delighted to try something else that their store offers. They were generous enough to send me the Anna Soaps Welcome Baby Gift Basket. The basket come with an 8 oz. wipes spray, organic baby oil, bath milk powder, baby powder, a calendula soap bar, and some baby wipes.

All Anna Soaps products are handmade in the lovely state of Maine and contain absolutely no synthetic ingredients. All ingredients are plant derived and organic when possible.

I love bath stuff. The bath is always a nice escape for me. I usually bathe with him and it's a nice and relaxing time for both of us. As soon as I got this basket I decided we should try out the milk bath. The milk bath left both Eli and I silky soft and it had a wonderful faint citrusy scent to it. Definitely a nice treat, and perfect for a newborns first bath.

My two absolute favorite items from this basket are definitely the calendula soap and the wipes spray. I use both of these items just about every day. I was still using disposable wipes on occasion when we were out and about cause a faucet isn't always easily accessible. The wipes spray solved this problem! I keep the bottle in the diaper bag with a few cloth wipes and we are set wherever we might be. Since Eli can't talk yet to tell me whether or not the following is true, so I am just going to assume it is: the wipes spray solution seems soothing. When I first started testing it Eli had a really awful diaper rash, probably the worst he's ever had. I sprayed the wipes pray directly on the area to be cleaned off and let it sit for a minute and Eli was totally chill about it and would stop pulling on his groin. 

As for the calendula soap, well, Eli and I both use that! It's super moisturizing, great for body and hair, and just smells like what clean should smell like.

I also never use baby powder, but this powder is talc free, and we were dealing with that bad rash so anything that might help was a go. It did it's job and helped keep moisture away from little E's skin.

This basket would make a really wonderful baby shower gift, or just a treat for any occasion really! It comes wrapped up in a basket with a pretty bow ready for gift giving!
